I’ve visited this church almost six years ago, so a revisit was overdue. Kunibert, consecrated in 1247, is Cologne’s youngest and largest Romanesque church. I realized a few things on this bright Friday afternoon: your look on things changes over time; your technique changes (means: it’s getting better); my goals changed over time. The look is getting more careful, and despite spending for more than an hour, I’ve taken only a few dozen shots. Restricting yourself to taking less photos makes you more attentive; and the better your shots, the less post-processing you have to do.
Revisiting Kunibert
